I have something I need to tell you.

Hey, I'm Carly, the person behind Cozy Writing Co., and I have a longstanding habit of getting extremely interested in things and then needing to tell somebody about them.

Questions. Observations. Cozy games, books, or shows I can't stop recommending. Ideas that started as a passing thought and somehow ended with 14 browser tabs open.

Every month, at least one of those things wins.

As is customary with letters, there will also be a return address. If you ever feel like writing back, I'd genuinely love that. No pressure.

I just want to give you one small reason to be glad you checked the mail.

  • Every month, you'll find one thing in your mailbox that isn't trying to sign you up for replacement windows.

    Inside you'll find:

    • One real letter written by me. Not mass-produced. Not AI-generated. Just whatever fascinating rabbit hole I've wandered into lately.

    • The occasional surprise. Every now and then, there might be something extra tucked inside the envelope. I'm not making promises... but I'm also not ruling anything out.

    • A reason to check your mailbox that has absolutely nothing to do with bills, credit card offers, or political flyers. (I know, right?)

  • 1️⃣ Sign up once.
    Your subscription renews monthly until you decide otherwise.

    2️⃣ Check your mailbox.
    Sometime during the first week of each month, an envelope will be mailed out with your name on it.

    3️⃣ Open it.
    Preferably with coffee. Or tea. Or while hiding from your responsibilities for five minutes. I'm not here to micromanage.

    • Delivery: Mailed once each month, usually during the first week.

    • Format: A physical letter delivered through the actual postal service. Like it’s 1994 again.

    • Subscription: Monthly. Cancel anytime.

    • Extras: Some months the envelope may include a little surprise. Some months it’ll just be a really good letter.

  • Wait... an actual letter?

    Yep.

    Like... in an envelope. With a stamp and everything.

    Honestly, the U.S. Postal Service has been waiting for a comeback.

    So... what am I actually reading?

    Whatever I've accidentally become fascinated by lately.

    Writing. Creativity. Board games. A strange observation. A ridiculous story. An idea that refused to mind its own business.

    Beyond that, I make very few promises.

    Will everyone get the exact same thing?

    Mostly.

    Maybe not.

    The core letter will be the same, because half the fun is getting to nerd out over the same thing together.

    But I’ve learned not to make promises Future Carly might immediately improve upon.

    Can I write back?

    Absolutely.

    I'd genuinely love that.

    (Fair warning: It may encourage me to find something else I have to share.)

    When will I get my first letter?

    I usually mail letters during the first week of each month.

    If you happen to join right after they've gone out, I won't make you wait a month.

    I'll get something headed your way as soon as I reasonably can.

    Is this a newsletter?

    Not really.

    Newsletters are designed to be skimmed between meetings.

    This is designed to be opened, read, folded back up, and maybe left on your kitchen counter for a day because something in it kept rattling around your brain.

    What if I move?

    Just email me before the next mailing, and I'll happily update your address.

    What if I decide it's not for me?

    No hard feelings.

    You can cancel your membership anytime from your account, and you won't be charged again after your current billing period.
